Joni's night and day organic bamboo pads are extra thin, winged, and super flexible for ultra-comfortable, stay-put protection for your daytime and bedtime routines. Get through your day worry free! These Joni Pads have an extra soft top sheet for extra comfort and are 3x thinner and 3x more absorbent than organic cotton pads.

How to: Stick the pad in your underwear using the sticky strip on the back, change your pad every few hours or whenever needed, wrap used pads in the wrapper or toilet paper and throw them in the garbage (they will degrade in a landfill within a year). Do not flush down toilet.

Made of: natural corn, organic bamboo, wood pulp, polymer, plant based PLA & PBAT, food-grade adhesive. Chlorine and dioxin bleach free. Anti-bacterial. Hypo-allergenic. Free of pesticides, dyes, toxins, latex, formaldehyde, and fragrances as required for OEKO TEX standard 100 certification. 

Organic Bamboo Fibres and Corn Starch: joni uses bamboo from suppliers who maintain Eco-Cert Organic Certificate which ensures the authenticity of our organic raw materials. Their suppliers are also Eco-Cert Organic Operations by USDA Certified as this ensures the farming of their organic bamboo is done following strict organic operations guidelines.
Biodegradable Paper & Plastic: All joni pads are individually wrapped in BPI and ok-compost by TUV certified biodegradable plastic and paper. TUV certification symbols represent the highest levels of scrutiny of material quality from the compound formulation stage to the final processed product.
SAP: Super absorbent polymer is essentially concentrated absorbent material that can absorb fluid 1000 times its original weight. Their polymer is made with 70% biodegradable wood pulp, and 30 non-biodegradable materials. They are actively working on increasing their biodegradability from 92% to 100% through the use of an alternative SAP.

Paper packaging can be recycled. Pads individually wrapped in compostable packaging. Pads are up to 92% biodegradable in 6 months under standard compost conditions, and will degrade in a landfill within a year (unlike the 300+ years of plastic pads).
