Created to reduce the use of plastic and paper! Designed to bring fresh baguettes home from the bakery or the market and to store them for 2 days*. It even has a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder or on your back!

Please keep in mind that bakeries use a less industrial process, so bakery-made breads contain fewer preservatives.

Material: 100% natural cotton

Dimensions: 78 x 20 cm / 31 x 8 in  The reusable bag is able to fit 2 baguettes.

Cotton is a natural fiber that lets bread breathe. Say goodbye to mould!

Here are some helpful hints for getting the most out of your bread bag:

Bag use
You are advised not to slice bread before putting it in the bag. Once bread has been sliced, the air contact surface increases, so it dries out more quickly.

Homemade or bakery-made bread will keep for 3 to 4* days. Baguette-style bread will keep for around 2* days.

You are advised to seal the bag as tightly as possible.

You can also freeze the bread directly in the bag, but make sure to close as tightly as possible!

*The shelf life of your bread will depend on the environment (temperature, humidity, etc.) in which the bag is stored.

*The crust servers as a natural barrier, so if you use a bread machine and the crust is thin, your bread may dry faster.

Bag maintenance:
The bags are machine-washable in cold water. We recommend not putting them in the dryer so as to avoid cotton shrinkage. We also recommend not washing them too often.

With a useful life of several years, "Dans Le Sac" bags are designed to offset the environmental impact of thousands of plastic and paper bags.

A shrinkage of 10% on the height of the bag is to be expected after the first wash. The bag was designed larger in anticipation of this shrinkage.

How to close the bag?
To close the bag, simply roll the top so that it is as tight as possible. Then pass the ribbon around and tie it.

These bags should last forever with proper care, however, recyclable as a textile.
